Children’s Museum Houston celebrated Arab American Heritage Month in April 2026 (specifically highlighted around April 2-3, 2026) with cultural activities, including storytelling, traditional dance by Folkoholic Dance Theater, henna art, and craft workshops. The event featured “A Perfect Day in Lebanon” Storytime and cultural immersion.

Artists from the Islamic Arts Society provided Arabic Calligraphy and henna art for the visitors. Children loved having their mementos in Arabic and getting henna tattoos on their hands.
