The Islamic Arts Society partnered with The Asia Society for their first family Eid Day to celebrate the Muslim holiday commemorating the end of Ramadan. 11oo visitors attended this event which showcased traditions from different parts of the Islamic world. Story tellers, henna artists, calligraphers, Ebru artists, painters and performers thrilled the young and old visitors. The event brought together both those who fasted throughout Ramadan and non-Muslims who had come to learn more about the holiday.
