13th Annual Islamic Arts Festival 2026

The 2026 Islamic Arts Festival will take place on November 21st and 22nd at the magnificent Ismaili Center, Houston. The festival will feature artists from across the country. 

Recognized as the largest and most celebrated Islamic arts festival in the United States, the two-day event will bring together artists, scholars, performers, and visitors from across the nation for a vibrant celebration of Islamic art, culture, and heritage.

Set against the inspiring backdrop of the Ismaili Center, the festival will feature an exciting array of programs, including fine art exhibitions and sales of contemporary and traditional Islamic art, live demonstrations by master calligraphers and artisans, interactive workshops, and a Sufi music program.

The Islamic Arts Festival serves as a bridge between cultures, fostering greater understanding and appreciation of the rich artistic traditions of the Muslim world while highlighting their relevance and beauty in contemporary society.

With over 5,000 pieces by more than 50 artists on display, visitors can enjoy, appreciate, and purchase art. They can also engage in interactive art sessions, learn about Islamic art and culture, attend workshops, and savor ethnic food. Live demonstrations on calligraphy, henna tattoos, ebru, painting, and a variety of children’s art activities will further enrich the festival experience

The festival attracts people of all ages, ethnicities, and faiths for two days of fun, festivity, and learning. Get ready for a fun-filled festival!

Each year, several famous artists in the field of Islamic art attend our festival. The festival allows artists the opportunity to network, collaborate, share ideas, and inspire one another.
 
Prominent artists who have participated in our events include Elinor Holland, Nihad Dukhan, Haji Noor Deen, Behnaz Karjoo, Paul Barchilon, Jennifer Usman, Adil Abedi, Josh Berer, Moina Sajjad, Fariba Abedin, Meryem Osmanlioglu, Muhammad Zaman, Harouth Bastajian, Aisha Changezi, Haidar Muhsen and Ism-i-Nur.

The society organizes events to celebrate our culture and promote the positive image of our community among Muslims and non-Muslims. Art is a common language and binds diverse communities. By promoting Islamic arts, we hope to promote mutual understanding and to bring the broader American community together.
